The San Benito County Office of Education Employee Recruitment Fair will be May 12th from 10:00- 1:00 at San Benito High School Cafeteria, 1220 Monterey Street Hollister, Ca. The County Office and our districts are excited to meet you! We have amazing districts with competitive salary schedules.
The San Benito County Office of Education will be providing an opportunity for those seeking teaching (including psychologists, counselors, school nurses, speech language pathologists, etc.), certificated/ classified management and classified positions to meet with those who hire staff in our local countywide districts.
San Benito County is a great place to live away from the hustle and bustle of bigger cities!
We are nestled in the coastal range mountains of California just south of San Jose and east of Monterey, where housing is still affordable. Surrounded by beautiful country, we offer recreation and outdoor activities, wine tasting, quaint shops, live music venues, casual and fine dining, and so much more.
Candidates are encouraged to register though it is not mandatory. Pre-registered candidates will be entered for a chance to win a door prize
Participants be sure to come prepared! Make sure to bring multiple application packets that include a letter of introduction, resume, letters of recommendation, and copies of your credentials (if applicable). Districts will interview candidates the day of the fair with many hiring on the spot.

On January 5, 2018 from 3:15-4:45pm, the San Benito County Office of Education in coordination with Assemblymember Tony Thurmond and San Benito High School will hold a roundtable discussion about how to best support LGBTQ youth in our schools. Please join us in the San Benito High School Library (1220 Monterey St) for a discussion with education leaders, social justice groups and students to discuss ways teachers, parents and community members can address bullying and access resources to help LGBTQ students be successful in our schools.
