Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS)

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a research-based, tiered approach that supports students' behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs. When applied effectively, PBIS boosts students' social-emotional skills, academic achievement, and overall school climate. It also enhances teacher wellbeing. The goal of PBIS is to create a positive, predictable, equitable, and safe learning environment where everyone can thrive.
