Cradle to Career Initiative

Building Pathways from Early Learning to Future Success
The San Benito County Office of Education Cradle to Career Initiative is designed to help students build the awareness, skills, experiences, and connections they need to confidently plan for their futures.
Beginning with early career awareness in the elementary grades and progressing through career exploration, college and career planning, and postsecondary preparation, the initiative creates a connected pathway of support from TK through high school and beyond.
Students are introduced to opportunities that help them discover their interests and strengths, explore careers, understand college and Career Technical Education (CTE) options, and develop meaningful plans for life after high school.
Through collaboration with schools, families, colleges, training programs, employers, and community partners, SBCOE works to expand access to career exploration and postsecondary opportunities for students throughout San Benito County.
Our Goal:
Every student should have the opportunity to explore what is possible, discover a pathway that fits their interests and strengths, and understand the steps needed to reach their future goals.
