Meetings: 
The County Board of Education meets on the second Thursday of each month, 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room, San Benito County Office of Education, 460 Fifth Street, Hollister.

The County Board of Education is the policy making body of the San Benito County Office of Education. The Board includes five persons elected from five supervisorial districts representing all geographical areas of the county.

Board Responsibilities include:

• Budget approval
• Policy development
• Expulsion appeal
• Inter district appeal
• Credential registration
• Instructional material adoption
• Program acceptance for state and federal projects
